Living in Fort Lauderdale was an experience draped in authenticity and festivity.
The markets were the pulse of the neighborhood, brimming with life and neighborhood news, a perfect place to meet new faces and learn about the happenings in the area. Every visit was like a mini adventure, with so many things to do, so many things to discover, and so much to enjoy, it was never just about shopping, but a cool gathering with the community.
My grandma loved how I would get out on the weekends to enjoy the markets and meet new people,... she would say," You get that from ya grandma". She enjoyed hearing about the vibrant energy of the trips I would take to the local markets. Every stall, every vendor, every piece of fresh produce reminds me of her.
Since my move back to Ocala three years ago, although I genuinely appreciate the serenity and natural beauty of the parks here, I miss the hustle and bustle of the city markets. There's nothing like waking up on a Saturday morning to a vibrant mix of great food, great music, and an array of exciting items on display from vendors from all over.
During the May meeting, our team agreed that we should provide an opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy, but also push our mission of enhancing the professional growth and morale of Teachers. This led to THE MIN-MART FRENZY!!
Hosting a Mini-Mart Frenzy Fundraiser filled with food, music, shopping, and vendors is an exceptional way to rally community support and raise funds for Teachers. With lively music and a diverse selection of goods, we're aiming to create a memorable, enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Any questions or concerns, please call 352-615-3901. We are looking for food vendors and donations of all types.
See ya there!
